Collection and Use of Personal Information

Personal information is data that can be used to serve, identify or contact a single person. You may be asked to provide your personal information when you are in contact with Yellow London Taxi Inc. Information gained through various forms of communication may be shared within Yellow London Taxi Inc that is consistent with this Privacy Policy.  

What personal information do we collect?

Information supplied at time of ordering a cab: Name, telephone number, pick up and drop off address.

Opening personal or corporate accounts:   Name of the business, contact person's personal information and position on behalf of the business, telephone number, pick up and drop off addresses, mailing address and credit card number.



How do we use your personal information?

The personal information we collect allows us to serve you efficiently when providing regular and special in/out of town taxi services such as pre-arranged taxi services, as well as receiving complaints, compliments, inquiries about our services and lost items. It also helps us improve our services when we need to investigate unusual incidents and investigations to be conducted by Police and other enforcement authorities.

When is information disclosed to a third party?
 
We may from time to time make certain information available to the City of London Licensing office and enforcement staff, and London Police Services. In accordance with municipal and provincial law, we can assist with investigation purposes related to public complaints, crime prevention, criminal activities (robberies, identity theft, sexual assaults, public property damage) only if a formal request has been made. We are obligated to cooperate and provide assistance.

Integrity and Retention of Personal Information

Yellow London Taxi Inc. will retain your personal information for the period necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by a municipal and provincial law.

We do not take calls from children under 13 years of age who request taxi service. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 years of age. If we learn that we have collected the personal information of a child under 13, we will take all steps necessary to delete the information as soon as possible. When children are transported by Yellow London Taxi Inc., a guardian, caregiver, parent or teacher must be present at both the pickup and drop off locations.
